The lavender seedlings continue to do well, but they’re doing it very slowly. In part, I should think that is because of the bitterly cold weather we’ve been having; and because I am hard on the seedlings and still put them out each day.
From seed to seven weeks, slow growing:
This is 11 days after sowing, and this batch were done with no bottom heat, outdoors in the daytime, under cover at night. Daytime temperatures have been around 5C – so definitely not ideal!
This one was pricked out three weeks ago. The pricking out definitely caused a growth check. So, out of interest, I did a second sowing with three seeds per peat pot (they’re not peat pots, they’re recycled paper and wood waste, just so you know :)).
